  • No, there is free parking on site at CLA for everyone attending the conference!

  • Yes! Feel free to bring your own food for meals and snacks. There will be an option to order meals in advance for the Friday supper and Saturday lunch, for a fee.

  • No, spaces in the Breakout Sessions will be on a first come, first served basis until rooms are at capacity.

  • Our hope is to have the schedule finalized two months before the Conference. You can check our website and follow us on Facebook and Instagram for updates about new speakers and exhibitors as they are added.

  • Yes! Giant Cow Children’s Ministries will be offering an optional kid’s program both days of the conference for children ages 5-11 (with the possibility of 12 year olds helping as junior helpers, and teens helping as junior leaders). All Kid’s Program registration and fees will be managed by Giant Cow and the link will be provided to adults registered for the BC Home Education Conference. Spaces are limited and parents will be responsible to pick up their children during meal times on both Friday and Saturday.

  • This conference is designed for adult attendees who are parents or caregivers engaged in home education.

    Children may attend if registered in the supervised Giant Cow Kid’s Program (spaces limited)

    Tots and infants are welcome to accompany parents — we provide a quiet nursing room and an open café area that can be used by families as needed. We simply ask that young children not disrupt sessions.

    There is no teen program this year, but teens are welcome to apply as volunteers in the Giant Cow Kids Program.

  • No, all registration fees are non-refundable, but you are welcome to transfer your registration to a friend if you are unable to attend, or we will gift the extra ticket to someone who has reached out for financial support.

  • No, all fees will be run through our registration system that does not accept PO numbers.

  • Yes! Please reach out to us at accounting@bchec.ca if you are unable to attend the conference due to financial reasons. There are needs-based bursaries available, and we are happy to receive your contributions towards bursaries to help a family in need as well.

  • Yes, the conference costs are inclusive of both days to encourage everyone to take in all of the great Speakers and Exhibitors we are bringing in to support the home learning community!
