The BC Home Education Conference is a Christian, community-focused event designed to equip, encourage, and connect parents who are on the home learning journey. Over two days you’ll experience:
Inspiring keynote speakers
Practical breakout sessions tailored to homeschooling families
Interactive panel discussions
Time to connect and network with other home learning parents
Whether you’re new to homeschooling or have years of experience, you’ll walk away refreshed and equipped with tools and friendships to support your family’s unique path.
This is more than a conference - it’s a community experience:
Learn from leaders and seasoned home educators
Get practical insights you can use in your home tomorrow
Build relationships with other families walking the same path
Explore local homeschool resources in the exhibitor hall
Be inspired and encouraged in both faith and learning

Due to space constraints, all seating for our breakout sessions is reserved for registered adults only. Seating at breakout sessions is offered on a first come, first serve basis and is subject to availability.
Children of registered adults may attend the conference only if registered in the supervised Giant Cow Kid’s Program. Kid's program spaces are limited and available on a first come, first served basis. Children must be registered directly with Giant Cow following adult registration. The registration link for the kid's program will follow in the registration confirmation email.
Please reach out to us at accounting@bchec.ca if you are unable to attend the conference due to financial reasons. There are needs-based bursaries available, and we are happy to receive your contributions towards bursaries to help a family in need as well.
Make your day easier and more enjoyable with food options tailored for conference attendees:
Pre-order lunch and dinner from Lepps Bakehouse and Mad Greek Food Truck. Pre-order forms will be emailed to attendees in April.
Bring your own lunch and snacks if you prefer — there is plenty of space to enjoy them.
The CLA Café will be open during select hours, offering specialty coffees and light refreshments.
Complimentary coffee and water will be available throughout the conference days.
